This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Chula Vista is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chula Vista follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped by here for dinner, poke portion was pretty good for the price, they could use more toppings but the toppings they did have were good.

This is a hard review because we've always enjoyed the food and service at this location. However, last week my husband and I went there in person for a take out order. There were FIVE people behind the counter, yet only ONE young man was actually working. We were 3rd in line (one family of 3 and 1 single), but were there for 13 minutes before the first person in line was helped. The young man (he wears anime pins on his hat) was busting his butt helping customers and filling on line orders while the others talked and goofed around behind the counter. It was beyond frustrating to see the line get longer and longer while everyone stood around and watched 1 guy work. Finally we were helped, and then we had to wait again because almost every bin was empty and they had to go in the back and get all new fish, seaweed, cucumbers, guacamole, green onions and carrots. We were there about a half hour from walking in the door to leaving with our take out order. This was the first bad experience we had here so I will certainly give it another chance- hopefully this review will result in some additional training or at least reminding the employees to take care of the customers and socialize la

Usually love this place. $17+ for a hefty poke bowl that's usually made with good vibes. However! Be warned. Ken is not the one you want. Could barely hear him, could hear his sighs though. Went there on 3/22 and he made the saddest bowl ever. Barely any protein, sauce, or toppings. Was so disappointing. Will go again but avoid him, lol. Here is a picture of what their bowls NORMALLY look like.

Fresh and quality ingredients. They have a great variety of proteins, delicious sauces, and toppings. The price is fair for the amount per scoop and the quality of everything. Service is efficient and welcoming. Perfect spot for lunch with plenty of parking.

Paid 15 bucks for this bowl! Asked the lady to add a bit more on servings but was giving bad vibe. Just moved to the area and thought would give this place a try. Poke was decent but paying $15 for not even a half of bowl is not worth it.
